Usually January is my least favorite month: the excitement of the holiday season is over, the weather is dreary, etc. However, this turned out to be a fun, busy month full of weekend plans (not to mention sunny skies!) Two of the highlights involved play dates for Riley. The first was with my brother and sister-in-law Zach and Amber and their kids. They had us over for a nice afternoon of play and a great dinner.

Wish we had gotten a picture of adorable Blake hanging out with the cousins as well. You can see his cute little face in the background.
This weekend I had my school friends and their kids over. There are five of us teachers that are close and we all had kids within a year of each other, so we get together on a regular basis (mostly over the summer.) These are terrible pictures but the only ones I managed to get the whole time.
